You deserve a doula!

Why Choose a Doula?

NH doula

Doulas are trained professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Additionally, they can provide a great deal of support to partners as well. Physical and emotional support can make a huge difference for everyone involved and help you achieve the healthiest, most rewarding experience possible. Doulas are there for you and your family in whatever capacity you need. They are there to hold space and advocate for you during your birth. They do not fill the role of a medical professional; instead, a doula is there in tandem with your care provider and birthplace of choice.

A doulas vision focuses on cultivating relationships that are positive and authentic to each family, ultimately honoring their experience and welcoming their baby to the world. I am not here to choose your path of birth. Instead, I am here to be a reassuring presence and help you navigate your own journey in your Sacred Space.

Testimonials

Allison was such an instrumental part of making the birth of our Twins exactly what we wanted! She was there to be an advocate for my husband and I if we needed it, but honestly the biggest part she played was keeping me calm and most importantly (to us) making us laugh! She made sure I was comfortable and took care of all of our needs. Also, she took pictures for us so my husband could be fully focused on me and our two sweet babies. She came to appointments pre-birth and checked in on us post birth multiple times! She also introduced me to a Moms group where I met many friends I still have today! She was a lifesaver for us and I am so thankful she took us on even though it was later in our pregnancy! We clicked immediately and we would highly recommend her to anyone considering having a Doula at their own birth!
